Haven Holidays Creates 7,000 Jobs Across Its UK Parks

Haven Holidays has announced recruitment plans which match last year in a move which will create 7,000 jobs across its parks in 2023.

The 7,000 vacancies will be a mix of seasonal jobs and permanent roles with positions on offer at all of its 40+ holiday parks in England, Wales and Scotland.

Haven Holidays, which is owned by the Bourne Leisure group, massively swells its ranks in the summer season with both full and part time vacancies up for grabs.

The travel firm employs around 16,000 members of staff but recruits a huge number of new seasonal staff each year.

Roles on offer at Haven Holidays include everything from catering and hospitality jobs to security vacancies, as well as lifeguard opportunities, chef jobs and positions for cleaners.

One region set to benefit from the seasonal recruitment drive is Lincolnshire which has over 200 vacancies available at three parks including Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and Skegness.

Launching this season’s recruitment drive, Nola Ferguson, the Head of Talent Acquisition for Haven Holidays, said:

“We’re thrilled that our holiday parks are now open and with new and exciting facilities being introduced, we can now offer even more opportunities to join our team ahead of what’s undoubtedly going to be another very busy season.”

“We have an array of seasonal roles and permanent careers to fit the needs of local jobseekers and as a nationwide operator, we are proud to support our teams with the right skills and programmes to enable people to thrive in their careers,” added Ms Ferguson.

Another area set to benefit from Haven Holidays’ hiring spree is Quay West in Wales, which has around 80 vacancies to be filled.

Commenting on the latest vacancies at the park in South Wales, Managing Director at Haven, Simon Palethorpe, said: “This is positive news for South Wales as the investments we are making as part of our Parks of the Future project will enhance our offering to UK holidaymakers wanting to visit Quay West.”

“Importantly, it will also bring greater employment opportunities and significant economic benefit to the local communities within which we proudly operate.”

New Quay councillor, Ian Pearce, also commented, saying: “It was an absolute privilege to be asked to officially open the new ShowBar on behalf of Quay West. As an owner for over 10 years and a councillor for New Quay, it is great to see some real investment in the amazing park that will create an improved experience for owners and guests.”
