Employment4students.co.uk Ltd was set up in 2000, after the introduction of university tuition fees, to provide a facility for students to find term time and holiday jobs.

The Market
There are currently over 3 million students in the UK. 95% of students work during the holidays. Over 40% of students now work during term time the majority of students study outside their hometown. All universities and colleges in the UK provide free Internet access for their students. The part time recruitment market is highly inefficient. Recruiting part time and short contract/temporary workers (especially highly mobile ones) can be extremely difficult and expensive using traditional methods such as newspaper advertising or agencies.
