Hotel chain Travelodge has created 400 part time jobs which are tailored to students across the UK.

The initiative will see Travelodge offer ‘dual-location’ vacancies so that students can work at a hotel in the area where they are studying during term time and a different hotel in their home town during the holidays.

Roles on offer for students at over 580 hotels across the United Kingdom include housekeepers, receptionists, linen porters and cafe/bar team members.

The opportunities could see students earning close to £10,000 per year working around 18 hours per week.

The hiring spree aimed at students is part of a wider recruitment plan which will also see Travelodge creating over 70 vacancies for non-students in roles such as management, engineering and other support positions at their head office in Thame, Oxfordshire.
