Energy Firm E.ON Next Creating 300 New Full & Part Time Jobs In Nottingham

Energy specialist E.ON Next has announced plans to create around 300 new full or part time jobs in Nottingham.

There will be a variety of different types of roles on offer in the city and the new recruits will be based within E.ON Next’s Burton Street base at Trinity House in Nottingham.

The hiring spree by the gas and electricity supplier in Nottingham is part of a wider recruitment drive for 1,300 new ‘Nexties’ (employees) this year.

The 300 vacancies in Nottingham city centre will be a mix of part time jobs, full time roles, work from home jobs and hybrid positions.

Launching the recruitment drive in Nottingham, Ramona Vlasiu, E.ON’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “If you think you could be a good fit and want to join an already diverse group of talented people who are committed to caring for our customers’ we’d love to hear from you.”

“Our Energy Specialists are passionate about providing great service. Each team has their own group of customers and they’re responsible for looking after them end to end. Naturally, with this they get to know them a bit better too,” said Ms Vlasiu.

E.ON UK’s Chief People Officer, Helen Bradbury, also commented, saying: “Diversity and inclusion is integral to everything that we do at E.ON, and we’re proud to have been recognised as one of the UK’s Top 50 Inclusive Employers for the past six years in a row. We’re delighted to be supporting the Notts Pride celebrations.”

“Nottingham is extremely close to our hearts at E.ON; thousands of our colleagues live in and around the city and many more of our customers live and work here too.”

“It’s vital that we continue to reflect our customers’ diverse backgrounds and life experiences in our workforce and I’m proud that we’re actively encouraging people from the LGBT+ community and allies to join E.ON Next,” added Ms Bradbury.
