Wren Kitchens Creating 200 New Opportunities For Apprentices

Wren Kitchens has announced plans to recruit 200 new apprentices across the UK in the next 18 months.

The kitchen specialist is creating 100 new UK apprenticeships before the end of this year, along with a further 100 opportunities for new apprentices before the end of 2022.

The apprenticeships on offer at Wren Kitchens include vacancies within the company’s customer services, engineering,finance, human resources, IT, kitchen installations, manufacturing and transport departments.

No previous experience is required for most of the roles on offer and all apprentices can look forward to a permanent position at Wren Kitchens when they successfully complete their course.

Announcing the new opportunities across the UK, the people and performance director at Wren Kitchens, Victoria Fairbairn, said:

“Whether you’re fresh out of college or looking to diversify into a completely different career, our apprenticeships open up long-term career opportunities for those looking to learn new skills and be part of a fast-paced and forward-thinking company.”

Speaking from personal experience as a compliance apprentice for Wren Kitchens, Daisy Saltmer, said:

“I didn’t know where to go with my career and this apprenticeship has opened up so many new opportunities. I really enjoy learning on the job because you easily pick-up all the knowledge and skills you need while having all the benefits of being an employee.”

Beth Russell, a Human Resources apprentice at Wren Kitchens, also commented, saying: “This apprenticeship has allowed me to learn new skills and open doors to further career paths without any previous experience.”

“I enjoy working at The Nest; it’s a really refreshing place to be part of as everyone believes in each other and wants them to achieve the best they can,” added Ms Russell.

Wren Kitchens, which is fast closing in on 100 UK stores, currently employ over 7,000 members of staff in full and part time roles around the world.
