The Pub Invest Group has announced plans to create 500 new full and part time bar jobs in the North West city of Liverpool.
The catering and hospitality sector has been one of the biggest casualties of the pandemic but now it looks like the industry could be turning a welcome corner.
The Pub Invest Group has already created 100 new jobs since restrictions on the hospitality sector started to relax on 12th April.
And now the company is looking for 500 per cent more new staff in the Merseyside city as customers’ thirst for al fresco drinking and dining shows no sign of abating.
Pub Invest Group is the name behind both long-established and new upstart Liverpool bars, clubs and restaurants such as Blush, Brooklyn Mixer, The Hatch, McCooleys, Revolver, The Rocking Horse, Rubber Soul, Sgt Peppers, SOHO and Zanzibar.
Announcing the recruitment drive for hundreds of new bar staff jobs in Liverpool, a Pub Invest Group’s spokesperson said:
“We will be recruiting for over 500 jobs which will include management roles, supervisors, bar staff, floor staff and kitchen staff. Everyone knows it has been a tough time in all sectors since the pandemic began, but none more so than hospitality which has faced many challenges.”
“We all hope the continued vaccine roll out and dropping 'R' number means we can all look forward now and look to return to some kind of normal sooner rather than later,” added the spokesperson.
