You will work closely with the project management team, assisting in the development and implementation of project plans and schedules. With opportunity to learn and grow within the organisation, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in project management.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules using project management tools.Collaborate with project managers to gather project requirements and monitor progress.Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.Support the tracking and reporting of project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.Assist in the coordination of project resources, including personnel equipment and materials and capturing working hours for labour resources.Collaborate with all the project teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.Project co-ordination to ensure the achievement of all deliverables in a timely manner, including attendance at site/office meetings where appropriateMonitor and undertake co-ordination of planning and environmental activities, checking of work undertaken, ensuring compliance with company proceduresUpdate and report progress of the project at regular intervals to the Planning Manager.Ensure that the established planning and scheduling approach is followedAssist with the preparation of the weekly / monthly programme report.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:REQUIREMENTS:Basic knowledge and competent in using Microsoft Project and Microsoft OfficeGood verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project team.Attention to detail and with high level of accuracy in work.Ability to analyse data and generate reports.Good organisational and time management skills, with ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.Ability to work independently and within a teamAbility to take direction from management DESIRED:Planning experience in Multi-utility diversion and ICP Projects will be an added advantage.Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practice is a plus.N.B. It should also be noted that the above list of principal duties is not necessarily a complete statement of duties and should be considered as for guidance only.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:The role may require you to travel to sites across the UK with occasional overnight stays, as and when required. Due to the nature of our works, there may be a requirement to cover out of hours works e.g., weekends and on some occasion’s nights.
