Company Details

SuperStars are a UK organisation which helps develop the talents of primary school children across a range of disciplines like PE, Drama, Music, Art, Modern Foreign Languages, Numeracy and Literacy. The aim of the SuperStars is simple, but very worthy: “To give every child the outstanding experiences and opportunities they deserve...”

If you also have a special talent in any of the subjects they help teach then why not hand down your knowledge to younger people and earn money for yourself at the same time? The company pays specialists a generous rate per session and will also cover your travel expenses.

SuperStars has been in the business since 2005 and now works on the development of primary school children at more than 250 schools in the UK. Most of their work is carried out in South West England and South Wales - including (but not restricted to) Hereford, Gloucester, Wiltshire, Bristol, Bath and Weston Super Mare. So, if you are based in those sorts of geographic areas and have an aptitude for sports, the arts, foreign languages or numeracy & literacy then SuperStars will probably want to hear from you...

A role as a dedicated subject specialist at SuperStars will see you both preparing and delivering lessons to the children, and motivating them to achieve the best that they possibly can in the subject you are teaching. You will also need to evaluate and record the children’s progress throughout the teaching plan.

To be eligible for a job at SuperStars you will need pretty impressive credentials yourself. As well as GCSEs or A’ Levels and a proven track record in one of the subjects that they teach, you will also need previous experience of working with children aged 4 to 11. SuperStars also require that you can commit to them during term time hours for at least one full academic year.

In addition, as an ambassador for SuperStars you will also need to show a great aptitude for customer service to make sure that the schools - and their children and families - have a wonderful experience which develops the pupils. As their website states:

“We understand that if a customer is merely satisfied then we are simply not doing our job. We accept nothing less than our customers being 100% delighted. We strive to create raving fans wherever we go and build fantastic rapport with everyone we meet...”

If none of that phases you, then have a look over the social media channels of SuperStars which we have posted to the left of the page for your convenience.
