Ultimate Outdoors, a small chain of stores owned by JD Sports, will create dozens of new full and part time retail jobs in Dudley with a new outlet at the intu Merry Hill shopping centre.

There are expected to be around 80 retail vacancies at the new Ultimate Outdoors store in Dudley near Birmingham, and the branch is expected to open on May 23. The new shop will be located at a former Kiddicare unit which was vacated in September 2014.

The Dudley store will be just the third branch of Ultimate Outdoors - with others in Nottingham and Preston - but the retailer also sells its products online.

The marketing manager for intu Merry Hill, Rob Pickersgill, welcomed the new Ultimate Outdoors outlet to the Dudley shopping centre saying: “We’re very excited for the opening of Ultimate Outdoors, another great boost to the centre in what has been a very successful first year as intu.”

Ultimate Outdoors will join existing retailers at intu Merry Hill such as Argos, Boots, Clintons, Dorothy Perkins, Game, Marks & Spencer, Matalan, Paperchase, Pets At Home and many more...
