Holiday park specialist Haven has announced recruitment plans which will create 10,000 full and part time vacancies across the UK this year.

The company, part of the Bourne Leisure Group, is boosting its ranks at various towns and cities, creating thousands of jobs for counties all over England, Scotland and Wales.

The tourism firm has over 40 holiday parks spread across the UK and is looking to fill a variety of roles at all of its locations throughout 2024.

Both full and part time positions will be available and some seasonal roles could convert into permanent positions with the company.

One town set to benefit most from the Haven holidays recruitment drive is the coastal resort of Blackpool.

The North West town will have 550 jobs up for grabs, which is more than the whole of South Wales will have on offer from Haven Holidays this year.

Announcing this year’s recruitment drive, Nola Ferguson, head of talent acquisition at Haven Holidays, said:

“We're thrilled to be re-opening in March with an array of innovative enhancements across our holiday parks. This exciting phase of growth presents a fantastic opportunity for talented individuals to become a part of our dynamic team.”

Yorkshire - 1,100

Dorset - 1,000

North Wales - 1,000

Lincolnshire - 950

Scotland - 600

Sussex - 600

Blackpool - 550

Northumberland - 500

Somerset - 450

Cornwall - 400

Devon - 400

South Wales - 400

Lake District - 350

Essex - 300

Kent - 300
