| Finding a good graduate job is hard at the best of times - with so many people going to university, competition for places is greater than ever before. But there is a way to give yourself an edge over others, and to give yourself the best chance of securing a job and gaining valuable work experience, and that's by doing an Internship. Please note - most of the programmes require you to be studying at a UK university and be eligible to work in the UK, as well as having an outstanding academic record.
An internship usually takes the form of a vacation placement - usually between 4-10 weeks over the summer. You gain an insight into how the company works and if you make a good impression, you stand a great chance of being offered a graduate placement. We have outlined a few of the best internship schemes below, and will be adding more with all the application deadlines and other details in due course. There is a huge range of options from actuarial internships to investment banking intern programmes in London and right across the UK. |
