FDM Group, the IT services provider which now has more annual graduate IT jobs on offer than any other UK employer, is up for a handful of awards over the next few weeks.

On October 22, the National Graduate Recruitment Awards 2010 take place at The Radisson Hotel, Portman Square in London. The Awards attempt to serve as a yardstick for recruitment excellence in the UK’s graduate job industry. There are ten categories that the Awards give credit for.

FDM Group has been shortlisted as a finalist for awards in two categories at the awards ceremony this year. The global IT services company hopes to beat off competition from the likes of Sainsbury’s and Hydrogen Group plc to be crowned as the ‘Best Technical Graduate Recruiter’ with the ‘Best Graduate Training Programme.’

And then on 11 November, the FDM Group is also a finalist in two categories at the UK IT Industry Awards 2010. In those awards the IT firm has a chance of picking up both the ‘Best IT Supplier of the Year’ and ‘IT Employer of the Year’ titles.

Earlier this year we brought you news of how FDM Group are doubling the number of graduate IT jobs on offer from 245 last year to 500 in 2010. That level of graduate recruitment in the IT industry is greater than either Microsoft or IBM can muster this year.
