Part Time Job And Holiday Job News

Students studying in Dudley – or returning home there during the holidays – will be happy to hear that there will be over 150 Christmas jobs in Dudley at the Merry Hill Shopping Centre this year.

Debenhams and Toys T Us account for close to 100 of the Christmas vacancies that have already been announced in the West Midlands Town.

The full and part time jobs on offer at the shopping centre in the Brierley Hill area of Dudley will be at a variety of shops, cafes and fast food restaurants. Most of the vacancies on offer at outlets such as Debenhams, McDonald’s and Toys R Us would make perfect student jobs for the Christmas break.

A spokesperson for Merry Hill Shopping Centre pointed out that although 150 full and part time Christmas jobs had already been confirmed, many more could become available in the next couple of months. With over 50 places to eat and close to 240 stores based at Merry Hill, it does look likely that more Christmas vacancies in Dudley will be advertised in the coming weeks.

In order to fill all of these Christmas jobs, the Merry Hill Shopping Centre will organise a jobs fair in the near future. A date and venue has yet to be agreed upon, but we’ll let you know if we receive more details so that you can beat the throngs of jobseekers that usually attend these events.
