As a graduate Technical Business Analyst (TBA), you will kickstart your career in the corporate world. Therefore, extensive training and resources will be available to you. However, being a self-starter with genuine can-do attitude will get you far.
Here are some of the responsibilities:
- Help clients understand the options and possibilities for how they can use the highly configurable and complex systems
- Design and implement top quality new software solutions
- Solve challenging technical problems using a structured and logical approach
- Gather client requirements and turn these into detailed, unambiguous and accurate specifications
- Manage the build of sometimes complex implementations, and ensure this is done to specification
- Continuously monitor and improve high tech solutions
- Support the sales team by contributing to client proposals including presenting and demonstrating technical solutions to clients
Requirements for the role:
- Full right to work in the UK without any restrictions (no graduate visas accepted either for this position unfortunately)
- Recent graduate (2022-) from a top 30 UK University
- Based close to or willing to relocate to Birmingham as this is a hybrid position
- Achieved a 2:1 or above at Bachelor’s level in a STEM subject including Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering
- Excellent A-levels, minimum AAB (or equivalent) including an A in Maths
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Logical, well organised and practical
- Confident and eager to take on responsibility and the ability to learn new skills quickly
- The ability to work well as part of a team, seamlessly collaborating with others
- Computer literate (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel) and able to pick up new concepts
Some of the positions are more client-focused where an ability to build relationships with customers and strong communication skills are essential, whereas others are more technical and require exceptional analytical skills. But in any case, it is all about teamwork, integrity and accountability!
A starting salary of £30,500 - £32,500 p.a. is offered, as well as competitive benefits and an option to work remotely up to 3 days a week after probation period (4 months).
