Job summary
Summary
The first part of the mission consists of collecting data from various sources including satellite imagery. The collected data will be processed to generate insightful and meaningful indicators for the research team and, more broadly, Crédit Agricole CIB. The main questions of atmosphere composition, climate change, ship and air traffic, drought and other weather characteristics will be addressed. An innovative approach and the proposition of new ideas will be appreciated. The algorithm needs to be automated in collaboration with the team in order to generate durable indicators. Finally, the indicators will be tested against financial markets data with the aim of bringing new information which was previously considered as exogenous. In addition, the intern will be part of the team and will participate in various data related tasks.
