Project Accounting Internship

We’re looking for an ambitious and intellectually curious student to join our team on a 12-week summer internship to learn, grow and contribute to our goal of a better tomorrow.

This will be based within our Finance department – Project accounting.

This role will provide you with an insight into the financial and commercial workings of projects primarily based in the UK, with a detailed understanding of offshore time entry, finance processes and both internal and external reporting. You will get the opportunity to use your understanding of finance and accounting principles and apply them to business projects and provide support to the project accounting team in collating and inputting timesheet information received from site and offshore locations on a weekly basis as well as supporting Project Accountants with reporting.

You’ll be

Reporting directly to Project Accountants within the assigned projects in an office environment. Duties provide meaningful work experience and business knowledge. Summary of responsibilities below:

Input of timesheet information from Worley offshore sites for weekly paid personnel

·

Runs system queries and reports as requested

·

Responds to routine timesheet queries

·

Preparing expenses back for onshore invoices

·

Weekly overtime analysis report

·

Manhours reporting for different engineering disciplines

·

Weekly Cost report downloads

·

Invoice uploading to Customer websites.

You’ll have

·

You will be in your penultimate year of study of a bachelor’s or master’s level degree in any degree discipline

Our internship programme is intended for those with minimal to no experience in Finance/Commercial/Business and for those are still studying at university. If you have more than 2+ years paid in-industry experience in the field of Finance/Accounting and/or have already graduated we would recommend applying for our other opportunities.
