We are a supportive Small Animal practice based in Oldbury in the West Midlands. Birmingham is on your doorstep for those who enjoy the perks of a major city but it’s not far to be able to escape into the countryside. Also due to practice location, the motorway network is really good so it’s easy to get anywhere in the country relatively quickly.
We have a very close-knit team at Tividale made up of 1 FT Vet, 3 PT Vets and 4 FT Nurses and we are all very supportive of each other. The team wellbeing is at the forefront. We provide a good standard of 1st opinion clinical care to our clients. We have monthly wellbeing sessions - 2 hours of paid work time to focus on the team. We also organise social events out of work for special occasions and charity events.
We have amazing facilities and equipment such as ultrasound, x-ray and dental x-ray. We have a certificate holder who comes to the practice monthly to do more challenging abdominal ultrasounds and heart scans. He also helps with challenging medical cases.
Step into a supportive start
Your normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, 4 days a week. Monday to Friday between 8:30 and 7pm. You will be required to participate in a weekend rota which will include working on a Saturday 8:30 - 12:30.
At Tividale, we want a new graduate to feel supported in their role right from the start. We all started there at some point and remember how it feels. We currently have 4 experienced Vets who will be happy to share their knowledge and skills. New graduates will be able to build on their skills they learned during university training in a safe, non-judgemental environment.
