Job Description
We are looking for a Sustainability Analyst to join Team OB in our Support Office.
As a Sustainability Analyst at OB you will have the opportunity to shape the carbon reduction program and be instrumental in its success. You will be part of a small but mighty team, embedding sustainability as a shared responsibility across OB.

This is a new role for the business, so we are looking for a bright and motivated individual who is passionate about Sustainability and the Environment. The role will have a strong data and reporting focus, leading and supporting the wider business to meet emerging regulatory requirements, develop and drive our carbon reduction program.
Our Support Office is based in Tolworth, near Chessington, only a 30-minute journey from London Waterloo. We offer hybrid working with a split of 3 days in the office and 2 days home working per week, and are open to having conversations about working flexibly.

An OB Sustainability Analyst will:
- Support the development of our Net Zero strategies, targets and decarbonisation roadmap, engaging colleagues and suppliers to agree targets and timelines
- Continue carbon footprint data collection and analysis to improve data quality and breadth
- Drive carbon reductions by championing the program, supporting action plans and monitoring KPI’s
- Deliver communications and training to colleagues and suppliers
- Support the wider environmental sustainability programs
- Represent OB at industry forums, forging opportunities for collaboration and shared learning
- Keep the business up to date with changes in legislation and best practice and developing pragmatic ways to implement change
- Support the Head of Facilities with annual compliance returns, including Waste Packaging Regs, SECR, international compliance schemes and Plastics Packaging Tax
- Produce repeatable reporting using tools or data dashboard solutions to ensure we get more efficient in production and can replicate methodology
- Develop internal audit systems to verify data and uphold claims

What we look for:
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Genuine passion for sustainability, reducing climate change and driving change in the fast-paced fashion/lifestyle retail industry
- Knowledge of environmental sustainability and carbon footprint data collection and reporting with previous experience creating and implementing net zero transition pathways
- Experience or knowledge of environmental regulations would be helpful
- Experience of in building or implementing environmentally standards such as ISO14001 or ISO50001 would be helpful
- Excellent data analysis, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strategic thinker with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and comfortable presenting technical information
- Strong influencing skills, motivating others to drive success in a collaborative work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Able to communicate information, ideas, and plans clearly and effectively to internal teams and suppliers
- Willingness to develop strong skills in analysing and presenting complex data
- Be resilient and patient, overcoming challenges and proposing solutions for problems, driving results and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritise, working with diverse teams across OB
