Graduate Project Engineer - AutoCAD 2D
If you would like a typically office-based (but not always) projects management / contracts based role, then this job could be for you!
This is a nice 3rd generation small business that delivers ventilation projects as a contractor from design to managing installation projects. They have an excellent reputation for quality and delivering projects.
They now need an additional person to help manage projects. Project managing, planning and coordinating sub-contractors.
The role:
- Office-based: You along with colleagues will manage multiple installations carried out by trusted sub-contract installers
- You be required to regularly produce CAD drawings - layout installation drawings that are accurate and detailed
- You will work closely with customers to deliver their projects ensuring quality, budget, and time-scales are met.
- You will assist with producing detailed quotes, RAMS and other Health and safety documentation for each project
- Site visits are required to survey, measure up, and to plan the smooth running of each installation with the main client/contractor
- You will be required to work on ISO9001 quality management documentation
- Carryout occasional Toolbox talks with sub-contractors
- Office hours 8:30 am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
Essential for this role
- You MUST already be living locally in the Northampton area and be available long-term.
- Graduate Mechanical Engineer or similar i.e. Building Services, Civil Engineer, Aerospace Engineer
- CAD drawing ability essential
- Driving licence
- Smart and presentable
Package:
- Up to £35,000 salary
