Job Description

The Virtual Learning Academyis looking for aMarketing and Business Support Modern Apprentice to join their new Inverness office. You will work with the Senior Management Team to provide a range of marketing and administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate should be outgoing and resilient, with excellent organisation and communication skills. Self-motivation and a positive approach to work are essential as is a willingness to learn in order to achieve a Diploma in Digital Marketing SCQF6The duties and responsibilities listed below are not intended to be exhaustive and may be extended. The individual may also be required to undertake other duties and responsibilities that may assist with the smooth running of the Inverness office.Business SupportAnswering the telephone and directing enquiries to the relevant staff memberDealing with incoming and outgoing post, including filing and company inboxUpdating client spreadsheets and customer databaseAssisting with onboarding processMonitoring and ordering stationery suppliesAssist with organising travel arrangements and team eventsCover support for other team members.Assisting in the administration of our on line learning platformMarketing SupportCreation and scheduling of social media posts in line with VLA marketing strategyOrdering of marketing suppliesAttending and representing the VLA at corporate eventsAssist in designing VLA brochures flyers and newsletterCreation of mailshotsUpdating Web Pages on VLA website Personal AttributesHighly organised – able to organise self and those they support.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProactive rather than reactive.Keep on top of workloads and deadlines and prioritisation of tasks.Be discreet and understand the importance of confidentiality.Positive and proud to go the extra mile.Flexibility and agility in working hours.Happy doing basic, repetitive tasks as well the more exciting/challenging tasks.Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Benefits and Salary37.5-hour working week with flexibility around the core hours of 10am-4pmSalary – £14-£16K Dependant on age and experienceHolidays – 34 days including public holidays3 Month probationary period.Health Care coverMonthly Wellbeing HoursPLEASE SEND CV’S TO ; .UK #J-18808-Ljbffr
