500 Seasonal Jobs At Peppa Pig World & Paultons Park

Paultons Park, the Hampshire home of Peppa Pig World, is creating 500 seasonal roles across its theme park attractions this year.

Last summer, Paultons Park took on a record number of seasonal staff, with around 350 vacancies up for grabs in 2021.

In 2022, the theme park is expecting an even bigger year so it is increasing its seasonal temps by around 40 per cent to approximately 500 members of staff in full and part time roles in Hampshire.

Paultons is located in the New Forest National Park near to Romsey in Hampshire and seasonal vacancies on offer this year include jobs as varied as cleaners, ride operators, gardeners, entertainers, retail staff, zoo assistants and catering & hospitality roles.

As well as flexible hours and competitive wages, seasonal workers at Peppa Pig World and other Paultons Park attractions - such as Critter Creek, Lost Kingdom and Tornado Springs - can look forward to free tickets and subsidised food & drink.

Announcing the recruitment drive across the attraction, Paultons Park’s head of Human Resources, Darren Vann, said: “We’re looking for 500 fantastic people to join our team next season. 2022 is an exciting year for Paultons. We’ll be celebrating the opening of another new ride in Tornado Springs, Farmyard Flyer, and will be looking forward to hopefully the first normal year after the pandemic.”

“Everyone has a part to play in ensuring our guests have a memorable, safe and enjoyable day at the park whereby they will want to visit again and recommend us to friends and family”

“We are looking for people who can help deliver this, whether that be in a part time role around your studying, or a career change into a new role, or something to keep you busy between home commitments,” added Mr Vann.

Matthew Buckler also works in the Human Resources department for Paultons Park but started out as a ride operator in a seasonal role at the attraction over thirty years ago.

Explaining why he has been at the park for so long, Mr Buckler said: “Paultons is a fantastic place to work. I quickly realised that while in my first role operating rides. The support from the company is great. It has enabled me to progress and find a career path that suits my skills.”

“Many of the colleagues I worked with during my first season at Paultons have stayed and grown their responsibility within the company.”

“Aside from the brilliant career progression, I like the fact that I am part of a diverse workforce and it’s great to see everyone of all ages and experience come together,” added Mr Buckler.

If you are interested in the seasonal jobs at Paultons Park this year then you’d better get things started soon as some of the roles start as early as the middle of next month. The recruitment website for the vacancies says:

“With many seasonal positions available, part-time and full time, there really is something for everyone, and we want you to be a part of it. We will have various hours available from when we reopen on 19th February and through March based on our opening times. This of course will then increase as we enter April and head towards our Easter and summer periods.”
