GB Group Creating Dozens Of Work From Home & Hybrid Jobs In The UK

GB Group (GBG) plc, a specialist in identity verification based in Chester, is creating dozens of work from home and hybrid jobs in the UK.

The Group helps businesses improve customer experiences by providing services to combat fraud and stay compliant with legal frameworks relating to ID verification.

The company has more than 60 vacancies in the UK and says that the new recruits will be able to 'work when and where they want.'

Although the new GBG staff can work from home as much as they like, they will also have the option to put some hours in at the office at the company’s Chester headquarters as well their locations in Worcester and London.

Roles on offer in the UK include positions within GBG’s finance, legal, marketing, sales and software & technology development departments.

In addition, the ID verification firm is also hiring 50+ new staff outside of the UK in Europe, the USA and the Asia-Pacific region..

The company says it is keen to receive applications from people of all backgrounds as part of their ‘be/yourself’ initiative which aims to treat all employees as equals and celebrate their differences no matter what walk of life they are from.

With GBG currently employing around 1,000 members of staff, the new recruitment drive will see the company grow their worldwide headcount by around 10 per cent.

Announcing the new positions within the company, GBG’s chief people officer, James Miller, said: “Our team is the key to our success and we’re putting people at the centre of our growth strategy. We want the very best people to join GBG and will give them the tools, training and support they need to do their job, no matter where they are based.”

“We understand that the pandemic has made people reflect on what they want from a job. For that reason, we offer a flexible approach where new recruits can work at home, from one of our offices, or, indeed, any remote location. Creating a workplace that supports them to develop, grow and feel more than just a number is my priority.”

“It’s an exciting time to join GBG. As well as joining an ambitious, growing company, new team members could also be working with innovative technologies like AI and biometrics,” added Mr Miller.
