McDonald’s To Create Dozens Of New Jobs In Stafford

A new McDonald’s restaurant is set to create dozens of new full or part jobs for students in Stafford.

Although not exclusively aimed at students and graduates, other branches managed by the same franchisee already hire college and university students in Stafford.

Around 70 vacancies will be on offer at the new McDonald’s in Stafford’s Kingsmead Retail Park, with the outlet expected to open its doors on March 25th 2020.

Announcing the recruitment drive, franchisee of the new McDonald’s in Stafford, Sarah McLean, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing a brand-new restaurant to Stafford. It’s fantastic to be able to offer more jobs within the local area with great training opportunities for everyone.”

“I’m proud to employ a great range of people, from students, to graduates, to those looking after a family or interested in a change of career. We employ people with a variety of demands on their time and with differing family or study commitments.”

“What’s more, the new digital self-order kiosks and table service have been designed to make our customers’ experience as positive as possible and we hope to see a fantastic response to these features. We are very excited to open our doors and we look forward to seeing customers and staff embracing the new features in this busy part of the town,” added Ms McLean.

The Kingsmead Retail Park branch of McDonald’s will be Ms McLean’s third in the Staffordshire town and will become her 21st restaurant nationwide.
