Aldi To Create Dozens of New Supermarket Jobs In Bradford

A brand new Aldi store is set to create dozens of new full and part time supermarket jobs in Bradford.

The new discount supermarket will cover 1,700 square metres and will be built in the Bolton Woods area of Bradford as part of an urban village project.

Around 40 vacancies will be created by Aldi, with a range of roles to be on offer once the German supermarket chain completes construction later this year.

Work will begin on the new supermarket over the summer and we will bring you further details of the Aldi vacancies once they go live.

Costa Coffee has already signed up for a unit on the development and the retailer expects to complete their new drive-through unit at the site later this month, creating further jobs for this part of Bradford.

Canal Road Urban Village has teamed up with Bradford Council to see the New Bolton Woods development through to fruition. Commenting on the project, the company’s managing director, Peter Swallow, said: “The contract we have signed with Aldi is a major step forward as we drive forward our bold plan to create the urban village.”

“Our mission is to create, in association with Bradford Council and major development partners, an attractive and welcoming community, one where people enjoy living and which provides job opportunities for local people,” added Mr Swallow.
