Go Carz, a private taxi firm, is to create 100 new driving jobs in Dudley with a new office in the West Midlands town.

Recruitment is now open even though the Dudley branch of Go Carz isn’t set to open until the start of next year.

Go Carz already handles over 100,000 calls a week at existing offices in Shrewsbury, Telford, Walsall, Wellington, Willenhall and Wolverhampton, but, due to an increase in demand around the area, is now expanding to Dudley too.

Bosses say the driving jobs at Go Carz offer lots of flexibility and that the pay averages at around £400 to £600 per week depending on how many hours you are willing to put in.

You don’t need your own vehicle to be eligible to apply for the Dudley driving jobs at Go Carz, but you will need to be at least 25 years old and proof that you have been driving for two years or more.

Announcing the recruitment drive, the director of Go Carz, Cindy Wilday, said:

“We are already bringing drivers on-board, which is fantastic, and already have work available in the area from our existing offices in Wolverhampton and Willenhall. We have identified the need to offer a more complete service in Dudley and view this as a natural progression for the company.”

“We are really busy across the whole of the West Midlands and are currently looking for about 100 new drivers for the Dudley area. We are interested in hearing from anyone who would be interested in working with us.”

“We have also heavily invested in the very latest technology in terms of our booking systems, and we are committed to raising brand awareness and ongoing marketing to support our valued drivers,” added Ms Wilday.
