Rolls Royce To Drive 200 New Jobs To Goodwood

Car manufacturer Rolls Royce has announced plans which will create around 200 new full or part time jobs near Chichester.

The new recruits will be based at Rolls Royce head office at Goodwood in Sussex and will see the car maker cross the 2,000 employee count once the recruitment drive is complete.

Since it opened its Chichester base a decade and a half ago, Rolls Royce has increased its UK workforce by over 500 per cent with new staff being recruited to work on the production of a range of models such as the Phantom, Shadow, Ghost, Cullinan and Corniche.

Announcing the Chichester jobs, Chief Executive Officer of Rolls Royce, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, said: “I am delighted to announce our new recruitment programme. This reflects not only the success of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars to date, but also our confidence in the future of our business.”

“Rolls-Royce continues to strive for long-term sustainable growth and we remain fully committed to luxury manufacturing at our home here in Great Britain,” added Mr Müller-Ötvös.
