Online car rental company Rentalcars.com is to create 350 Manchester jobs as it opens its third office in the North West city.

The new offices will be ready in a few months time and will cover over 2,000 square metres. To be opened on Manchester’s Fountain Street close to Piccadilly Gardens, the Rentalcars.com offices will more than likely be iconic as the company’s other offices have been voted amongst the coolest in Britain, with features such as indoor rowing lakes, jukeboxes and nightclub-themed canteens the norm.

Most of the 350 jobs in Manchester will be in tech roles, analytics positions and product management.

Rentalcars.com already employs around 1,400 staff in Manchester, and with the opening of the new Fountain Street offices along with more recruitment at the company’s customer service centre on Quay Street, the rental car firm will have a headcount of more than 2,000 by the end of 2017.
