200 Nottingham Jobs Up For Grabs At Recruitment Event

There will be 200 full and part time Nottingham jobs up for grabs at a recruitment event to be held in the city tomorrow, 22 July 2014.

Students and other young people who are looking for work in Nottingham should head to the Richard Herrod Centre in the Carlton area of the city between 10 o’clock in the morning and 3 o’clock in the afternoon to speak to local businesses about the opportunities they have on offer.

The five hour recruitment event is being organised by local newspaper Nottingham Post in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council and follows up on previous jobs fairs which have been proved popular with job hunters, both within Nottingham and from further afield.

Over 20 businesses and training providers will be in attendance at the Richard Herrod Centre tomorrow. Just a few of the recruiters in Nottingham include Avon, Arriva, Care UK and YU Energy - and a range of full and part time positions in a number of sectors will be available for job seekers in the city.

Charles Walker, the deputy editor of Nottingham Post said that the previous three recruitment events they had organised this summer had been ‘tremendously successful’ and urged people to attend what will be their last event this summer.

“We estimate that more than 1,000 jobs have been up for grabs and thousands of people have attended. They work well because employers and potential candidates meet face-to-face and get to learn more about each other – which is a real advantage when it comes to applying for positions. I would urge job-seekers to go along and talk to the exhibitors who will be there. I hope they will find what they are looking for,” said Mr Walker.

We also advertise tons of vacancies for students and other young people living in Nottingham. There are always opportunities for people who want to earn some money with flexible jobs such as bar work or charity fundraising in Nottingham.
