The search is on to find the UK's top finance student.
Website theACCOUNTANCYjob.com and the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) have launched the Financial Student of the Year Award 2007.
The award, now in its fifth year, is open to all finance students currently studying at higher and further education establishments in the UK and Northern Ireland.
Steve Boakes, chief executive of the IFA, said: "Today's students are tomorrow's finance professionals. We want to encourage excellence every step of the way by rewarding the aspirations and efforts of all finance students.
"We
want to use the awards to raise the profile of the finance student and highlight positive role models in the field of financial services."
Accountancy is a very popular career choice for university graduates.
Multiple exams need to be taken to become fully qualified, but there are benefits of all that study - a qualified accountant in the UK can expect to earn an average yearly salary of nearly £68,000.
