The Range To Create 100 Bangor Jobs Home, leisure and garden chain The Range is set to create 100 full and part time jobs in Bangor with the take over of a store that was formerly a Focus DIY outlet.

The Range have over 60 stores in the UK, but the Bangor store will become the company’s first venture in north Wales.

Full and part time jobs on offer when the new Bangor store opens in April will include vacancies for admin staff, warehouse workers and management roles at both store and departmental level.

Chris Dawson, owner and manager of The Range, spoke of the new store in Bangor and the jobs it will bring to the area: “We would like to welcome the locals to the store’s opening, so that they can see first-hand what we are about. I would like to thank the council for welcoming us to Bangor with such open arms. It’s also fantastic to be creating so many jobs for the local area.”

Mayor of Bangor, Huw Williams was happy that a new business was opening up at the former Focus DIY store and said it will give a boost to the city’s local economy.
