Brean Leisure Park in Burnham-On-Sea has said that it could create as many as 100 holiday jobs in Somerset this summer in a variety of roles.

The leisure park caters for around 5,000 people every year and needs up to 300 staff to help them entertain their guests. Some of the summer job opportunities on offer include bar work, kitchen staff, arcade assistants and ride attendants. As well as full time work there are also part time positions available.

10 of the new Somerset jobs at Brean Leisure Park have been created with the building of a brand new swimming pool complex for the coming season. The new feature is called Brean Splash Waterpark and will be open to Somerset locals as well as guests who are staying at the park on holiday.

Speaking to the Burham-On-Sea.com website, Richard House, the manager of Brean Leisure Park, said they were excited about the summer season in 2011.

“It has been a difficult time with the recession; however we are positive about the UK holiday market, the product we offer and the great value for money that we continue to offer customers. We are also very pleased to be able to offer up to 100 new job opportunities to local people across a wide range of roles during 2011,” said Mr House.
