Signature Living is to create up to 1,500 new hotel jobs and apprenticeships at four UK locations over the next few years.

With an ambitious expansion plan, the hotel chain will create hundreds of full and part time jobs in its home city of Liverpool, as well as further vacancies and apprentice opportunities in Cardiff, Preston and Belfast.

Up to 100 apprenticeships will be created by the hotel chain, with school leavers joining Signature Living set to benefit from dedicated work experience and mentoring opportunities.

A range of roles will be up for grabs from this summer, with vacancies for bar staff, restaurant workers, receptionists, concierges,events coordinators and management positions all on offer.

In addition, the company will launch a Spain-based venture which will see Signature Living creating seafaring jobs on a cruise ship.

Currently, Signature Living only provides jobs for around 800 people, so the new recruitment drive for 1,500 extra staff marks a significant increase to the company’s headcount.

“I am particularly pleased about the expansion of our apprenticeship programme which will be focused on young people not currently engaged in employment, education or training,” added Mr Kenwright.
