Best Paid Student Jobs

Whether you’re a school student after your first job, or a university student looking to help with living expenses, we all dream of having one of the best paid student jobs. But they can feel hard to come by, or sometimes overlooked.

I know that when I was a student only a couple years ago, I was always looking for the same type of job and wouldn’t widen my net. Which probably means I lost out on many top paying jobs over the years.

That’s why we’ve done some digging to uncover some of the best paid student jobs which are easily accessible and don’t require specific experience.

Supermarkets

Pay rate: £12 per hour

Supermarkets have long been popular with students for their flexibility, especially with short 4 hour shifts, or longer 8 hour workdays on offer to let you fit earning as much as you can around education.

And with supermarkets present in nearly every town and city, they can be especially useful for university students as you can work at the same supermarket chain at university and home.

Pay also varies depending on the job role you’re doing, as a job such as delivery drivers will earn more, but with Lidl offering highly competitive £12 for all ages, it’s a role which should be considered.
