Qbic To Create Dozens Of Full Or Part Time Hotel Jobs In Manchester

Qbic has announced plans to open up at a new location - a move that bosses say will create dozens of full or part time hotel jobs in Manchester.

Set to be ready to start accepting guests as early as March next year, the latest Qbic hotel is expected to create more than 60 vacancies in Manchester.

To be situated along Manchester’s famous Deansgate Street, the hotel will be based within John Dalton House, close to much of the city’s nightlife venues and eateries.

There will be more than 260 rooms in the Manchester branch of Qbic and there will be 42 hotel roles on offer before the hotel opens its doors to the public. A further 20 vacancies could be advertised after the hotel launches next Spring.

Qbic already has hotels in London in the UK, as well as properties in Amsterdam and Brussels abroad.

Qbichotels also feature a branded ‘Motley’ restaurant which can cater for up to 180 diners at any one time and is famous for sourcing local, seasonal produce and using up leftovers in an inventive and efficient way.

Announcing the recruitment drive in the North West city, Qbic’s director of operations, Jon Walters, said: “Supporting our local communities is at the core of the Qbic Hotels ethos and we are proud to be creating employment opportunities in the Manchester area with our plans to recruit over 50 roles locally.”

“It is a difficult time for the hospitality industry globally and locally, but we are confident better times lie ahead and that Qbic Manchester will be at the heart and soul of those better times in this fantastic city,” added Mr Walters.
