Wimbledon Jobs

While we are on the subject of strawberries and cream (sorry!) why not spend the first half of July 2018 soaking up the action by getting a job at the Wimbledon tennis tournament?

Running from 2 July until 15 July this year, there is a variety of catering and hospitality work at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London’s SW19. Jobs at Wimbledon get snapped up early, so you might have already missed out this year, but it’s still worth checking out our venue page for Wimbledon Tennis vacancies as there could still be some security work up for grabs in 2018.

Marquee Rigger Jobs

As the weather warms up, many people want to host weddings, parties and a range of other events in fields, farms and gardens all over the United Kingdom.

Many of these events require ‘pop-up’ marquees to be erected in advance – and then dismantled after the event has finished.

It’s pretty strenuous work but marquee rigging could be a great way to earn very good money working outdoors in the sun this summer.

Find out more about this line of seasonal work and learn how you can find vacancies in your area in our guide to marquee rigging jobs in the UK.

Lifeguard Jobs

Make like The Hoff and getting a job as a lifeguard this summer. What could be better in a UK heatwave than living the Baywatch life and saving people on Britain’s beaches?

Okay, we’ll be honest, not all lifeguard jobs are glamorous surfer-buddy roles at the UK’s most-attractive bays. Indeed, many lifeguard jobs are at local swimming pools or lakes where water sports take place.

But, if you are fit and a strong swimmer then learn how to keep your cool in a heatwave with our advice on lifeguard jobs in the UK.

Summer Camp Jobs

With school kids off for the summer – and many young people visiting from overseas – there are loads of jobs you can do at summer camps and activity centres across the UK.

Supervise kids on great activities like zip wiring, pony trekking, hiking – or help them learn English over the course of a few weeks.

One great things about doing these sorts of roles during a heatwave is that many of the vacancies are residential positions with free accommodation and/or meals thrown in. So, not only will you be earning competitive pay while having great fun yourself, your expenses for the summer will be next to nothing!
