The role
We are seeking to appoint a number of Boarding Assistants who are interested in a career either in education or in pastoral care of young people.
The positions will be residential with accommodation available for use during the holiday times also. No charge is made for the accommodation or food during the school term.
The primary role of the Boarding Assistant is to work within the boarding environment to get to know the girls and build up a relationship of trust with them. The Boarding Assistant will be expected to be ready to give support to the House staff team. In addition, they will have other responsibilities in school depending on her areas of expertise and interests.
Queen Anne’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
