Now looking to take on an IT Support Apprentice, this exciting opportunity is the perfect fit for someone with a passion for IT and an eagerness to learn new skills.Customer service is a massive part to IT Support and is the most important trait for someone to have. As the first port of call to all clients, you will need to be confident in speaking to a variety of different personalities with different IT issues.In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.A Typical Day in the Job:Performing system checks and undertaking IT maintenance work as directedAssisting with the installation and maintenance of hardware and softwareAssisting Senior technicians with maintenance of IT infrastructureSupporting and maintaining the many IWBs, projectors and digital screens across the TrustTo ensure all incidents and support requests are logged and tickets up-to-date according to the SLAs.To support Trust/Academy events (e.g. assembly/productions/events/training sessions).Support adherence to ICT policies, including those relating to safeguarding and internet usage.Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:GCSE 4 or equivalent in Maths and English is essentialGreat communication skillsResilience within difficult customer focused situationsAble to adapt to different personalitiesAbility to use positive langaugePassion for ITSalary, Hours & Benefits:Working hours- Monday- Friday- 9 AM to 5 PM (37 Hours per week)An annual salary of £9,62024 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidaysMileage reimbursedFree on-site parkingCPD and collaborative working across the trustPension schemeWellbeing programmeXmas lockdownEmployee of the week opportunitiesYour Training with Baltic:This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT.Next Steps:If this sounds like the role for you, put in an application!
