About The RoleEKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We are looking for a Skills, Education and Employment (SEE) Apprentice to join our team.This position will provide important central support within the SEE Team but also involves regular communication and collaboration with a range of complementary functions and teams within EKFB JV.  The role will involve daily interactions (in person, via email and Teams) with colleagues within EKFB, our on-site teams, our Supply Chain partners and EKFB stakeholders such as schools and colleges.This role Support the team’s School Engagement programme, to include co-ordination of volunteers, communication with schools, recording and reporting of activities and act as an Ambassador for the apprenticeship programme (both inside and outside the JV) and play an active role in SEE activities and events.The SEE Apprentice will assist the team with the quarterly reporting of activities to our client, and other reports as required. This will also include regular liaison with the EKFB Communications teams to provide content to internal and external media output to showcase our work.The SEE Apprentice will also be an active member of the EKFB Starting Blocks Community, contribute to their programme of activities and events and support oversight of the SBC on behalf of the SEE Team. This position will provide a vital link between EKFB and our Supply Chain in terms of delivery, tracking and reporting of SEE activities that contribute to our targeted outcomes, such as via our Supply Chain Reporting tool and Skills & Legacy Forum.This role will support and assist on other project programmes such as Learning & Development and EKFB Mentoring programme.In this role, the successful candidate will be enrolled on an 36-month Apprenticeship program working towards a Level 4 qualification in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability.About The CandidateKey Skills and Qualifications:General education to GCSE grade A-C or equivalent.IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Office.Good communication, organisation and teamworking skills.About The CompanyEKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall.
