Calling all aspiring Software Developers! I have an extremely thrilling role available right now! With exciting growth plans in place, its a great time to join this ever-growing business.Quorum Developments were founded in 2002 and are now highly regarded in the electricity industry. If you are the successful candidate you will be working with new customer specifications and ongoing projects along with assisting with their bespoke software. You will work alongside the rest of the development team who have lots of experience in Software Development and your mentor Jamie has already had experience with mentoring apprentices so you are in sade hands.In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Software Development Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.A Typical Day in the Job:Using languages such as Java, JavaScript and ReactCredit new code for databases, also updating existing code to customer specificationWorking on new and exciting projectsIdentifying the route cause of bugs and troubleshooting to fix the bugsFull training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:Grade 4/C in English and Maths or Functional Skills Level 2 equivalentLooking for someone with a degree in either Maths, Physics, Computer Science or Software (would still be happy to see people with other degrees)Looking for a self-motivated coder who is driven and understands testing if possibleSomeone who is keen to solve problemsSalary, Hours&Benefits:£23,000 - £25,000 per annumMonday to Friday 9am 5pm, this can be flexible20 days, plus statutory holidays an extra day every year of serviceStatutory pensionEmployee guidance package including counselling etc.Business eventsThis apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in software development. Afterwards, well support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.Your Training with Baltic ApprenticeshipsLearn to create, test, and implement code as part of a professional software development team.With our unique apprenticeship programme, you'll build an impressive range of coding skills - and learn to thrive as a junior developer.Youll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
