Finance and Accounts Assistant Apprentice Salary - Negotiable 40 hours per week, full time, permanent contract. Finance and Accounts Assistant Apprentice We are currently seeking a Finance and Accounts Apprentice (Level 2) to join our Headhunting Consultancy. We are interested in hearing from those with experience as an Accounts Assistant, or those without experience. You may have transferable skills if you have worked in customer service, reception, or administration or if you have recently completed GCSEs, BTEC or A-level within Business Studies, Accountancy or Administration fields. Full training will be provided. On the 15 month scheme, you will be supported by and working with your Line Manager and colleagues as you learn on the job and get the chance to gain an AAT certification. The company’s intention would be to offer a permanent contract once the apprenticeship has been completed, although this is not guaranteed. The role You will be assisting the team in delivering an exceptional quality of finance service to our customers via phone and email, in line with with Ethic Recruit’s values. The role will include, but not be inclusive of; Book keeping, bank reconciliation, assisting in payroll, invoicing, reporting profit and loss. You will also become skilled in in key areas of Xero, gaining a Xero Advisor qualification. You will be supported by an experienced, diverse team, including a trained Accountant, Compliance and Contracts Team, onsite IT Support, a well-established Consultancy Team, and Managers who have over 30 years experience in education and recruitment. What you can offer; Minimum Grade 4 or C in GCSE English and Maths or Level 2 English and Maths Functional Skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paying attention to detail.Proficient with IT, including Microsoft Office.Confident on the phone.Social intelligence, with the ability to self reflect and evaluate, demonstrating a growth mindset.Ambitious, self-motivated and be able to take initiative.Resilient and able to manage a busy workload. Hours of work Standard working hours are 9am-5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9am-4pm on Friday.
