Looking for a great career move? CPM is seeking a commercially aware Senior Commercial Accountant to join their busy, fun-loving head office team. Excellent salary £32-38k DOE, plus company bonus and excellent benefits including pension and 26 days holiday rising to 31 days

Location: Thame OX9 3PG (Hybrid working available)

The Senior Commercial Accountant Role:
This is a pivotal role within our Finance department and you would be responsible for all aspects of client accounting. Whilst this role is focused less on the transactional elements and more on strategic management accounting, you would be working across all financial activities so versatility and enjoying variety are a must!

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Commercial Accountant role are:
Coordinate and review client reconciliations (client budget v cost incurred)
Production of monthly management accounts
Supporting the negotiation and renewal of client budgets
Supporting new business costings
Attending client meetings and store visits
Ensuring all costs are budgeted for and charged, protecting CPMs profitability

You would enjoy this Commercial Accounting Manager role if:
You are commercially aware and constantly seek for areas where profitability can be improved.
Are credible and able to help improve the financial knowledge of non-financial personnel within the business.
You are ideally part 1 qualified (or exempt) and have previous experience of working in a commercial financial environment.
You enjoy working in a busy, ever-changing environment and can work to tight timescales.
Accuracy and attention to detail is key to everything you do.
You have great PC skills (including highly developed Excel proficiency). Experience of PeopleSoft and Cognos is an advantage, but not essential.
You are seeking a financial role that allows you to develop yourself and your skills and gives you the opportunity to influence internal and external budget holders.
