What you’ll be doingYou’ll be involved in high-integrity, complex engineering, as well as digitisation and other technologies for future projects and customers. You’ll collaborate with our production engineering and technical services teams, with a particular focus on modern manufacturing techniques, processes and advances associated with Industry 4.0 (Automation, IoT/Interconnection of devices, Smart Sensors, Real-time Data Capture and Analytics, Virtual/Augmented Reality, etc.).What you’ll get out of itDuring the summer placement, you’ll get the opportunity to work in a department relevant to your degree subject so you can start putting theory into practice. You can expect to work on current projects where you’ll have real input and learn how to work safely in a workplace environment.What you’ll need To be in Year 3 (or above) in your studies of a relevant degree in Electrical/Electronic EngineeringTo be able to satisfy the MoD’s security requirements (you may need to complete a medical assessment)
