We have several exciting opportunities for individuals to join us as an Apprentice Technician, withroles based across Devon & Cornwall. Joining us on a full time, permanent basis, you will receive a starting salary of £12,500 in your first year, rising to £18,900 per annum over time plus an excellent training programme! We have roles available across Devon & Cornwall, working within Networks or Recovery & Treatment teams. Under supervision our Apprentice Technician will be required to operate and maintain our waste water assets, which could range from pumping stations, sections of our sewerage network or large treatment works. You will also be required to liaise with our customers where needed to ensure excellent service delivery. Gaining a nationally recognised professional qualification as you learn, you can look forward to great prospects with one of the South West’s largest employers. Responsibilities as our Apprentice Technician will include: - Undertaking all work with due care and consideration for health and safety- Performing routine and non-routine tasks in accordance with the operational requirements- Responding to any customer queries in a positive and informative manner- Ensuring quality is maintained within company standards- Ensuring all activities are carried out to protect the environment What we are looking for in our ideal Apprentice Technician: - 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A-C including Maths, English and Science- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Top-notch time-management and organizational skills- Good initiative and problem-solving skills- A full UK Driving License (essential) Please note, any skills you don’t currently have, we will work with you to train you!
