Job Description and Responsibilities Visa’s Data team work in our very first Data Science Lab to help bring our data to life and provide all employees with a deeper insight into Visa’s business through the innovative and creative use of technology. The team uses data to improve conversion rates with clients, build brand trust, enhance decision-making and develop our best talent by building a centre of expertise. The team focuses our data-driven insights to identify commercial opportunities using interactive media like virtual and augmented reality.This apprenticeship will allow the successful candidate to gain the specialist skills required to become a Data Scientist, whilst applying their acquired skills to real life projects at Visa. You will learn about state-of-the-art data science techniques & tools including pandas, scikit-learn, tensorflow, spacy, pyspark, mlflow. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will be required to:Analyse complex datasets on a regular basisIdentify areas where AI solutions can create new business opportunities and efficiencies Initiate and design new projects and develop innovative, scalable, data driven AI solutionsSimplify models and deliver insights that everyone in the business can understand Provide technical authority, direction and strategic guidance for the business on emerging opportunities and insights for AI, that are relevant to business goals Qualifications Visa are a talented team of 15,000 individuals with unique backgrounds, perspectives and experiences.
