In this role you'd be employed as a Care & Support Worker initially, with a specific Learning stream to complete this apprenticeship. Once completed, you would be responsible for supervising the care team and ensure a person-centred approach is delivered.Who is it for?The Lead Practitioner in Adult Care Apprenticeship role is for someone who is keen to develop or progress their career in the Health and Social Care sector.The entry requirementsTo begin your training as a Lead Practitioner in Adult Care Apprenticeship you'll need:GCSEs grade 9 to 4 (A to C) in maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English as a minimum (these can be achieved alongside the apprenticeship).A level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or related diploma.To be employed full time at Strode Park House, Strode Park Foundation.You will also need to demonstrate your ability and willingness to study at level 4You must not hold a similar qualification (including apprenticeship) at Level 4 or higher and you must not already be in any form of formal government-funded education.CostsFunding of the programme is through an apprenticeship which will be supported by Strode Park.The programmeThe Lead Practitioner in Adult Care Apprenticeship will be delivered whilst working and you will be fully supported by a tutor and Strode Park to complete the qualification.What can I do after qualification?Once you've finished your training, you'll have the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviours to work as a Lead Care and Support Worker at Strode Park House. This building is set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds. It is a nursing and residential home offering both long and short-term care for adults aged 18 and upwards. Our home is registered for 55 beds, and we offer a relaxed homely environment for our residents.
