Linde Material Handling is part of the KION Group, one of the world's leading manufacturer of forklift trucks, and other warehouse and material handling equipment.Have you considered a career opportunity in the material handling industry where you will gain a nationally recognised qualification to Level 3 in Lift Truck and Powered Access Maintenance?We are looking to recruit Apprentices from all over the UK to join our business. Currently we employ over 80 Apprentices throughout the country and are looking to add to that number.We are looking for the new generation of engineers to start their career in our industry leading Apprenticeship Programme and help us maintain and repair our extensive range of lift trucks and materials handling equipment.Successful applicants will give be given full support throughout the programme. You will need to have a passion for all things engineering, be keen to learn and be motivated to achieve success. In return, you will be provided with all the equipment and training you need to complete our Apprenticeship Programme.You will need to commit to 3 years of training before you become a fully qualified Service Engineer, you will be supported throughout the 3 years by a dedicated mentor who will help you develop your skills and an Apprentice Development Officer (ADO) who will monitor all of your training through college training and on the job training.Linde offer high-quality in-house training to aid you through the 3 years to aid your transition to Field Service Engineer after you qualify.To be considered for our Apprenticeship you will need Maths and English to GCSE grade 4/C or above, or National 5 in Scotland. A background in mechanical/electrical engineering would aid your application.Your duties and responsibilities will include: * Attend all training courses * Deliver high levels of customer service * Meet the personal and professional standards of the company and conduct yourself in accordance with the Linde apprentice programme behavioural guidelines * Complete tasks in the workshop and take responsibility for being involved in its day to day running alongside the workplace mentors to complete your Vocational Competency Qualification (VCQ) * Work at becoming competent at carrying out regular servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on all trucks to a high standard * Regularly demonstrate company values of Integrity, Courage, Excellence & Collaboration
