Recruitment & Training ApprenticeshipHybrid working arrangements split across our Byfleet office and home workingUp to £20,000 per annum, depending on experienceThis is a full time position Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with time off for studiesOur story began in 1873 and since then, our estate agency has stood the test of time through every high and low of the property market. In addition, our Stirling Ackroyd New Homes and Commercial teams are experts in their fields.Whether you are looking to start your property career or move up the career ladder, Stirling Ackroyd Group is always looking for talent across our teams.In this instance, we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our small but ambitious HR team based in Byfleet, Surrey as our Recruitment & Training Apprentice.You do not need any prior experience within property, or specifically within HR, L&D or Recruitment as we will provide full training and development, working with the successful candidate to create their chosen career path, aligned with CIPD accreditations.RequirementsYou will be working as a key part of the group HR function, responsible for facilitating an exceptional onboarding experience to each and every new starter into the Stirling Ackroyd group.Working closely with other key stakeholders across the business, you will be the champion for the new starter experience and ensure all colleagues are set up for success, acting as their first point of call during their onboarding and induction.Duties will include;Ensuring all new employees documentation is completed and HR system is updated, chasing as and when requiredUpdating and maintaining the eLearning database, ensuring compliance is maintained throughoutCompiling induction plans for all new employees, liaising with line managers and relevant departments to ensure all resources and equipment is ready for their first dayAssist in creating and distributing reports on a weekly basisBeing the first point of contact on employees first day, and completing ID checksCo-hosting induction webinars, supporting subject matter experts as and when requiredSupporting both the L&D Manager and TA Advisor with general enquires regarding onboarding and induction trainingThe successful candidate will be;Self motivated, focused on achieving deadlines with a high attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships and deliver exceptional customer service at all timesConfident with IT and bespoke technology systemsStructured and organised, focused on finding & communicating the best solution possible for all parties, in a timely mannerAble to work independently and also as part of a team, effectively contributing toward departmental projects, targets and wider objectivesResilient and consistent when faced with conflict and driven to resolve challenges positivelyBenefitsWith the Griffin behind us, Stirling Ackroyd Group are committed to putting our people first.
