Job Description

Strom Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join our offices based in Wakefield.  Our hours of work are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.



The ideal candidate will need to be motivated, enthusiastic and able to provide support to the Office manager by supporting the external sales team.   



They will be required to assist in varying aspects of the business and will need to be organised enough to handle a wide range of varied tasks on a day-to-day basis.



We have an exciting opportunity available; We are a small and very friendly team, and we are focused on providing a high-quality service and customer satisfaction to our long-established UK customer base.



The role will include both shadowing, learning and taking part in general activities within a working office, you will be a part of our team.



Duties are likely to include:




  • Working closely with the office manager

  • Speaking to external and internal teams

  • Processing customer orders

  • Updating and maintaining customer records

  • Assisting with monthly figures and uploading data accordingly

  • Assisting with dispatch of goods and invoicing

  • Assist with monitoring and maintain of stock

  • Supporting and assisting with administration

  • Filing, photocopying, scanning

  • Answering incoming calls

  • Assisting with customer queries



Support and training will be provided throughout the apprenticeship to help you build confidence and new skills.
