Based in Basildon at the New Holland manufacturing facility, CNH employs the largest agricultural product support division in the UK, providing global aftermarket support to customers. You will be working with a team of highly skilled and motivated technical product specialists, who answer technical questions submitted by UK Case IH and New Holland dealers through are ASIST tool. In addition, we have field service technicians who work closely with the product specialist, travelling to dealers diagnosing and repairing machines where the dealer requires on site assistance. Our only goal is to support the customer in the event of a technical issue. Industrial Placements and Graduate Opportunities What are we looking for? We wish to recruit students to work in the following disciplines at our Basildon head office and plant, for 12 months, starting in July - August 2022: There is an exciting opportunity to join the product support team on a yearlong internship, we are looking for an enthusiastic engineering student or college graduate with a keen interest in land-based engineering. The successful candidate will: Conduct on site testing of tractors, investigating and replicating faults found by dealers, then reporting finding to the relevant product specialists, helping to constantly improve products. Answer dealer questions through ASIST, logging faults and quantifying issues. Occasional dealer visits assisting field service technicians, diagnosing and repairing machines.Competencies and key behaviours: Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems and electrics (further training will be provided) An understanding of agriculture is beneficial, a keen interest in machines is essential Strong team spirit and ability to develop and work within a collaborative and supportive culture The motivation to learn quickly and develop on existing knowledge. Good commination skills Degree or equivalent, (or currently studying) in a relevant field of study A driving license is essential All applications must be submitted via this link by 14th January 2022.
