Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Trainee Claims Customer Service Representatives for our Derry Customer Service Centre. Are you naturally empathic with strong customer service skills and an ability to negotiate at all levels? If so, we would love to hear from you.Reporting to a Team Leader, you will work as part of an experienced claims team to handle and settle cases in a timely manner whilst delivering an excellent service to our customers. The Key Responsibilities of the role will include:• Conduct desk-based incident and case management within predefined authority limits and to predefined processes, procedures and escalation points.• Contain claim costs by implementing agreed processes and deploying all resources effectively.• Deal effectively with referrals, escalations and complaints where appropriate.• Follow an effective Quality Assurance program designed to validate the quality of claims handling by delivering consistent claim estimating, minimising leakage and fraud, and adherence to defined processes.• Participate in initiatives to deliver continuous improvement and assist in improving the performance of our business.• Full ownership and accountability of the claims you are involved in managing.• Deliver agreed targets for customer service, settlement rate and recovery levels. The experience you will need to have At least 6 months experience of working within a customer service or claims handling environment. Be customer orientated and display a willingness to meet and understand customer’s needs. Excellent communication and negotiation skills must be target driven. Demonstrate excellent negotiation and decision-making skills. Methodical and structured approach to work demonstrating good problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude be proactive and highly motivated. Show a high degree of flexibility when faced with new challenges. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with patience and confidence Satisfy the internal recruitment criteria of satisfactory performance and attendance rating and no form of disciplinary. APA Personal and Commercial would be beneficial. This recruitment campaign may be used to fill any further Claims CSR opportunities that may arise in the Claims CSR area.
